The Customer Experience Expediter I fills sales orders for parts with customer expectations in mind while using established processes and systems. This position focuses on exceptional quality and timeliness of delivery to achieve a superior customer experience when representing Vermeers premium brand. This role completes emergency and stock orders through the use of scanning or printed order formats and will pick, pack and ship parts.****

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.

2. Complete customer order process by referencing production schedules, sales orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed; work efficiently and effectively from various shipping or receiving stations.

3. Ensure premium brand strategy is met when sorting, packaging, restocking or placing materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to documented standard work, or predetermined sequence (i.e. part number, commodity, size, product code).

4. Convey materials and items from receiving or inventory locations to designated areas throughout the manufacturing facility.

5. Organize and deliver parts and kits received from machine shops, supermarkets, or central receiving to internal and external customers according to standard work or referenced from the bill of materials.

**Education and/or Experience**

- High School diploma or GED required.

- Less than one year related experience and/or training.

- Previous manufacturing background preferred.

**Other Skills and Abilities**

- Ability to operate fork trucks, lift tables, roller floors, and carts.

- Effectively present information verbally and written and respond to questions from groups of managers and suppliers.

- Perform basic functions in the designated computer system.

- Perform problem solving techniques and root cause analysis.

- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to assess, evaluate, and carry out appropriate action for a given situation.
