Responsibilities:
Pharmacist reviews prescriptions (including compounded prescriptions) and dispenses prescribed drugs according to regulatory requirements and guidelines
Pharmacist shall follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures
Pharmacist responds to patients and providers questions about medications and advises about drug safety and potential interactions
Pharmacist manages the transfer of prescriptions, incoming physician calls and drug utilization review
Pharmacist ensures patient records are correctly input and maintained
Pharmacist supervises technicians according to state requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a Pharmacy. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Compounding knowledge for non-sterile products is also necessary.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Active Arizona Pharmacist License
- 1 year of related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-10 years of related experience
- USP 795/800 knowledge
