PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATE / NURSE PRACTITIONER, URGENT CARE

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Physician Associate and/or Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering the best patient care experience possible. We combine technology with modern care. We have welcoming clinics, and you ll be working alongside a fun and supportive team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the best patient care experience possible.
LOCATION:
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- San Leandro Clinic: 201 Dolores Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578
- Montclair Clinic: 1970 Mountain Blvd, Oakland, CA 94611
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administer injections, immunizations, and other medical procedures for urgent care and primary care patients
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Completion of chart notes within 48 hours
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Work with HR, Operations and billing to ensure smooth operation and execution of primary care initiatives
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Functions as an integral part of the team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work as a team with other department heads and staff
- Willingness to work onsite and telemed if needed
- Understanding management reserves the right to change hours to current operational needs
