Rad Tech (Part-Time, Temporary, No Weekends)

This opportunity is for a temporary, part-time Floater Radiologic Technologist to cover at our offices in the Greater Baltimore region for approximately 6-12 weeks starting in July 2024.

Job Duties

  • Perform variety of diagnostic exams.
  • Perform diagnostic images and gather data using necessary equipment.
  • Provide ongoing, daily support to physicians and chiropractors.
  • Perform quality control tests on diagnostic equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and log accordingly.
  • Process X-ray films and maintain files and accompanying logs for easy retrieval.
  • File daily medical and X-ray reports and ensure they are complete.
  • Assist office staff as needed in performing daily tasks such as attorney requests, patient phone calls, etc.
  • Inventory and order adequate supplies for radiological services.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
  • Assist in maintaining office in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Completion of 2 year accredited radiology program.
  • Certification/registration in radiography - ARRT.
  • State license(s).


Additional Skills/Competencies

  • 1 year clinical experience.
  • Ability to operate special equipment to image, assay, and monitor radioactivity.
  • Tact and skill in patient management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers.


Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
