We are seeking a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor (2nd shift) to become an integral part of our team!
This position is located in FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Supervisor will ensure the safety of production employees and his subordinates. The Manufacturing Supervisor will plan, direct and oversee machine shop activities to assure high quality parts get produced on time.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- CNC Machinists/operators and other shop support personnel
- assigned tasks and provides assistance as needed
- with performance evaluations
Responsibilities
- for machine shop plant production, including safety, scheduling, output and quality
- and maintaining a continuous improvement culture in all areas of production
- an atmosphere that encourages employees to use the best of their skills
- interview, monitor and conduct disciplinary procedures as needed
- with facilities specialist/plant manager regarding floor layouts, looking for ways to best utilize space and reduce waste
- and enforcing plant policy and procedures
- evaluating, and training direct employees
- with the Company's quality system requirements
- miscellaneous duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in a related field required.
- least 5 years of related experience with applicable bachelor s degree or at least ten years of related experience required without degree
Physical Requirements:
- periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- lots of walking.
- be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
