Production Manager

Business Unit Specialized, belong to the Tube Division within Alleima Group, and we are a world leading producer and supplier of specialized tubular products in promising key market segments such as Aerospace, Medical and Hydrogen. Our products are corrosion resistant alloys based on stainless steel, nickel and titanium.

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager for our Production Unit based in Kennewick (WA) with around 125 amazing employees, and is), specialized in producing the high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical.

Your Role

In this role, you will be a key member of the Production Unit Management Team and you will be responsible for overseeing the full production department to proactively manage the production process in order to fulfill the company business plan.

Your responsibilities include manning, quality, EHS and costs controls. Success will be measured by improved safety, quality, productivity, employee satisfaction as well as profitability, and other financial measurements.

Your key activities will be the following:

  • Ensure your department meets the required safety and environmental standards and employees receive the necessary EHS training,
  • Oversee production operations, including production scheduling, inventory control, safety, staffing, reporting, procedure adherence, consistency, and quality.
  • Provide positive leadership/direction/support/coaching to the Production personnel to achieve safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
  • Report daily, weekly, monthly status of operations to upper management.
  • Collaborate with Technical Engineering team to design, develop and implement programs and procedures to optimize production and continually improve manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational plans, strategies, and goals to optimize production processes and achieve targets.
  • Analyze production capacity, resources, and demand to ensure optimal utilization and efficient workflow,
  • Identify opportunities for process and productivity improvements, and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
  • Oversee procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and tools necessary for production.
  • Optimize inventory levels, minimize stock outs, and manage inventory accuracy through efficient tracking systems and regular audits,
  • Ensure implementation and administration of all policies and procedures designed for the Production Department.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement quality control processes to minimize defects and maximize customer satisfaction.

About You

To succeed you should have a can-do attitude and possess a strong team work ethic, with the following background and experience :
  • B.S./BA degree in Business or engineering
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience and ideally 8-10 years' experience in manufacturing field, preferably in metals tubing industry.
  • Knowledgeable in non-ferrous metals and metal forming principles is beneficial.
  • You have solid leadership and interpersonal experience, particularly in the fields of communication, consulting, coaching and influencing, and are passionate about empowering and developing your team,
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organization and project oversight.
  • Ability to learn, discern, adapt and explain technical product specifications.


What you can expect from us

The salary range for this position is $86,000 to $129,000 annually with a 15% annual bonus opportunity and annual merit increase eligibility.

Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance. We offer paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year and a 401 (K) retirement savings plan that has a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you invest.
