Our team's passion is both for the products we produce, but more importantly in the service we provide. Our Production Team is looking for a skilled Press Operator who is adaptable to fast changing environments. A quick learner who is inspired to cross-train on all presses onsite allowing our company to extend capacity while accelerating into our future. Successful team members generally have prior experience in any or all of these areas of press operation: printing press operation, lamination, cutting, DOD, embossers, foil stamping, plate creation, prepress and/or other equivalent experiences.   • Attention to detail, ensuring that the proper format, appearance, spelling and layout of text and images is set prior to running the job.
  • Reviewing job orders to make the right adjustments to the printing machine.
  • Installing parts and supplies such as ink rollers, screens, printing plates according to the job specifications and press.
  • Testing inks and paints on the printing surface to determine the suitability.
  • Handling production of the printed materials, to ensure it meets the specifications, is ready and on schedule.
  • Performing maintenance tasks on the press or machine operating.
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and fixing (if certified) or elevating the scheduling of service providers.
  • Cleaning the printing press and peripherals

Your shift:
  • 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent physical strength and stamina (able to lift 50 lbs)
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment working independently to accomplish maximum output
  • Adaptable to learning and working on multiple presses during shift
  • Strong attention to detail

Desired Experience (but not required to have if willing and capable to learn):
  • Minimum 2 years in Printing environment
  • Experienced Press-Operator: HP Indigo experience a plus or equivalent
  • Experience using DOD equipment and other technologies to encode cards
  • Experience with PRECO die cutting or laminating also a plus
