Purpose and Scope: The Industrial Spray Painter-Preparation Technician at Sage Oil Vac involves preparing and painting industrial equipment and products to ensure they meet the required quality and aesthetic standards. Sage Oil Vac is a company that specializes in fluid exchange equipment and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation
    • Prepare surface of industrial equipment by cleaning, sanding, power washing, taping, or applying primer to ensure proper adhesion of This may include abrasive materials, solvents, and power tools.
  • Paint Application
    • Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to industrial equipment using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
    • Ensure that the finish is even, smoother, and free from
  • Color Mixing
    • Prepare paint mixtures to match specified colors and ensure consistency in color application.
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required quality and aesthetic standards.

  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance on painting and preparation equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues for timely
  • Safety Compliance
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols when handling paints, solvents, and chemicals. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to ensure a safe working environment.

    • Maintain an inventory of paints, solvents, and painting

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or

  • Proven experience in industrial painting and surface

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality
