Description
Intermountain Blending & Filling (a sister company of Scentsy) is looking for a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment.
Hours are 2:45pm-11:15pm M-F
Pay: $20-$25/hr Depending on Experience
What You Will Do
- Troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on processing and packaging equipment to include but not limited to: liquid and powder fillers, capping systems, form, fill and seal lines, conveyors, gear boxes, pumps, heat tunnels, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, USP water treatment, and boilers.
- Replace, repair, adjust and install electrical components, motors, transformers, belts, nuts and bolts, rollers, and defective parts.
- Conduct basic electrical checks on electrical components including continuity, fuses, and switches.
- Set-up and operate various filling lines.
- Install changeover parts in machinery and equipment as directed.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) checks on all processing/packaging equipment.
- Perform safety audits on processing and packaging equipment.
- Develop and maintain documentation of assigned projects and equipment repairs through work orders in SAP.
- Mentor less experienced staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as assigned
We're Looking For:
- Associates degree or certification from a skilled trades program or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance functions
- Forklift certification
- Electrical knowledge including AC/DC circuits, motor controls including variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret PLC/Ladder logic.
- Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of machine tools such as grinders, drill presses, and band saws to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical test instruments such as volt/ohm/milliamp-meter, amp probe, and megger.
- Familiarity with lockout-tagout (LOTO), personal protective equipment (PPE), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HAACP) programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to follow specified processes and detailed instructions.
- Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and SAP.
Salary Description
$20-$25/hr DOE
