Job Description:
Are you a dedicated safety professional with a passion for ensuring workplace safety in the fields of fabrication and manufacturing? We're seeking an experienced individual to join our safety team and take charge of creating a safe and compliant work environment in our prefabrication and manufacturing facility in Austell, Georgia.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.
Certification(s):
- OSHA 501 training certification is required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in safety management within fabrication and manufacturing settings.
- Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.
- Familiarity with OSHA general industry regulatory requirements and standards in the fabrication and manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits in our fabrication and manufacturing facilities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs tailored to the specific needs of our operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Provide OSHA training compliant with 1910 regulations to employees and management, fostering a culture of safety.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Utilize industrial hygiene skills to assess and mitigate potential health hazards in the workplace.
Work Experience.
- 5 years minimum work experience
