The shift lead budtender is an integral part of the Atrium dispensary team. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with patients, is knowledgeable about cannabis, will provide excellent customer service, works well with colleagues, and contributes to the overall atmosphere of an Atrium dispensary. The shift lead budtender will serve as the senior budtender and will work in tandem with store management to ensure that all store operations are executed in alignment with all policies and standards for the best patient experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with The Atrium Core Values.
- Supervises the activities of the Sales Department to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Possess knowledge about cannabis and how it works within the body, and express interest in a deeper education about medical cannabis.
- Verifies the accurate exchange of register drawers and ensure opening and closing procedures are accurately performed.
- Appropriately authorize discounts and other changes in sales receipts.
- Oversees and works closely with all departments to fulfill customer product requests.
- Ensures compliance in every transaction. Adapts and innovates as the California market changes.
- Exhibit a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards colleagues, patients, and vendors.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance and project trustworthiness and maturity.
- Represent The Atriums philosophy on customer service and customer relationships.
- Clean and organize the shop as directed.
- Be knowledgeable of the POS system and know how to process a transaction.
- Have the ability to coach or train staff.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Take direction and constructive critique well.
- Adheres to and enforces the organization's policies, procedures and Federal/State applicable laws
Qualifications
- A high school diploma and 1-3 years experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Retail, cash handling, and Point-Of-Sale experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills.
- Must be 21 years old and pass criminal State and Federal background check.
- Excellent work ethic and ability to collaborate with a team.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
- Flexible availability (early mornings, nights, and weekends).
- Previous Experience is a plus
