Small family owned law firm seeking a Paralegal with experience for the Personal Injury Department of the Law Firm in Pompano, FL. The position is full time In-Person(not remote) Monday - Friday.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal located in Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area. The Paralegal will be responsible for legal document preparation, communication, research, and document review. The Paralegal will also be responsible for assisting lawyers in preparing and filing legal documents and correspondence, organizing and tracking case files, and managing deadlines and calendaring.
Qualifications
- Experience in Law and Legal Document Preparation
- Excellent Communication and Research skills
- Document Review abilities
- Experience with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Paralegal certification preferred
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include prior experience handling discovery, preparing trial binders, and familiarity with Florida courts and procedures.
