Our client specializes in crafting, engineering, and producing integrated controls for industrial kitchen appliance manufacturers and operators, guaranteeing the excellence and safety of their products while optimizing workforce productivity and customer contentment. They are looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician who will work closely with the engineering team to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. This is an onsite position based in Stratford, CT.
Electrical Engineering Technician s Responsibilities and Duties
- engineers in the design and development of electrical systems, including drafting schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
- and assembling prototypes and test setups according to engineering specifications.
- tests and experiments to evaluate the performance and reliability of electrical components and systems.
- electrical systems and diagnosing technical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Electrical Engineering Technician s Qualifications and Skills
- degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field.
- experience working as an electrical engineering technician or in a similar technical role.
- in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and layout.
- to solder SMT components to printed circuit boards.
