We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager responsible for plant operation and
overall warehouse operations in our Laramie, Wyoming facility. Systematically
oversees and enforces TPW company policies and procedures. Responsible for plant
production goals, quality standards and establishes and maintains customer relations.
Major responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
Directs and coordinates plant operations within TPW policies and procedures.
Ensures all TPW products are manufactured per specified requirements.
Responsible for plant product quality control, production, packing, monitors
equipment, and reports plant information, as needed.
Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving
plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
Supervises, selects, and trains plant supervisory and administrative personnel.
Directs, maintains, and enforces the TPW safety program.
Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
Confers with the team leaders and department heads to ensure coordination of
purchasing, production, and shipping standards.
Conducts employee performance reviews.
Schedules and conducts plant meetings.
Attends scheduled TPW trainings and meetings.
Communicates customer activities and requirements to TPW staff timely.
Represents TPW in a professional and knowledgeable manner with high ethical
standards and safety.
Maintains a clean and safe plant.
Responsible for plant production goals.
Fosters well-trained and motivated TPW staff.
Complies, supports, and enforces all TPW plant safety policies and standards.
Qualifications:
BS or advanced College degree in industrial or business management and/or
related hands on professional work experience in a manufacturing/production
environment.
Minimum 5 years work experience in plant or operations management.
Experience or working knowledge in warehouse production manufacturing.
Independent starter with the ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate, both verbal and written.
Good managerial and team-building skills for plant personnel.
Effective listening and probing skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team
setting with diverse people.
Pleasant, positive, and confident presentation of self and organization.
Ability to prioritize duties and meet regular production processing deadlines.
