Title: Finance Controller

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000p/a (possible increase for the right experience) + good benefits

Location: Kansas City

Type: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity to work as a Finance Controller has come up at a SME IT Service and Software company. The position is based in Kansas City and is a newly created position with the objective of running the finances of three different subsidiary businesses. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and ambitious business and has the scope for career progression as the company acquires further businesses across North America.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports for all subsidiaries, including:
• income statements
• balance sheets
• cash flow statements
• other relevant financial metrics
• Establish standardized financial reporting processes across the group companies.
• Control and manage the company payable and receivables to ensure everything balances correctly.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis at both group and individual company levels, identifying areas of synergy, potential cost savings, and opportunities for revenue growth.
• Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the group including working with individual CEO s to ensure that their financial plans are consistent with the group overarching strategy.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, Group CFO and other senior executives to support informed decision-making.

Experience/Skills

• Will have at least 8 years experience working in accounts Essential
• CPA qualified Essential
• US GAAP knowledge Essential
• IFRS knowledge Desirable
• Knowledge of transfer pricing Desirable
• IT software or similar industry experience Desirable
