What you get to do

  • Responsible for procurement of goods and services to ensure the park's needs are met while adhering to the general guidelines of SEA Purchasing Standards
  • Work in a team environment and interact with operational units and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Represents the buying organization as an agent.
  • Seek to obtain and purchase all goods and services at the lowest possible total end user cost considering the guidelines of quality, delivery, service and price.
  • Assist with office duties to include answering calls, computer data entry, receiving and entering orders into SAP (ensure accuracy), and other miscellaneous office duties.
  • Create, process and close out maintenance work orders.
  • Coordinate Park maintenance service calls and dispatch trade personnel from control center
  • Receive, stock, issue and deliver goods and materials.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.

What it takes to succeed

  • At least 18 years of age
  • 1 year experience in a structured purchasing environment
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and buying techniques including price/term negotiation skills
  • Ability to function in a fast paced environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing with limited supervision
  • Solid knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and perpetual inventory systems
  • Willingness and motivation to learn and use new techniques
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, organized and detail oriented
  • Problem solving/ conflict resolution skills and ability to promote a team environment
  • Valid state driver's license with ability to obtain company driver's license
  • Able to stand for entire shift and be able to walk and move freely around work areas
  • Able to work indoors with or without A/C and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to work in environment with Fumes/Dust/Odor
  • Able to work in a team environment and independently with little to no supervision
  • Able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadership
  • Able to maintain accuracy with attention to detail while multitasking
  • Comfortable learning computer-based programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
  • Have a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts
  • Working knowledge of SAP applications system preferred
  • 1-2 years guest service experience preferred
  • Basic math skills required

Compensation: 16.85 USD Hourly
