I have recently been engaged by a highly-innovative Bay-area startup looking to hire a motivated and driven Cell Engineer to work on a never-before-done iPSC project. This company is incredibly well-positioned to make an impact on the field.

The Role:
- Use advanced gene editing techniques to engineer iPSCs and other cell lines
- Work cross-functionally with computational team for data analysis
- Collaborate with other teammates at all levels in a mission-driven and fast-paced environment
Expectations:
- PhD in relevant field and 0-6 years post-PhD experience (industry or postdoc)
- Experience with at least one of the following: epigenetic targeting, global editing, CRISPRa, CRISPRi, RNA-based reprogramming
- Experience targeting cell differentiation using cell engineering tools
- Experience designing vectors for gene expression and silencing in stem cells
- Experience analyzing RNA-seq data
