LA Injury Attorneys is a dynamic Burbank based personal injury law firm seeking a File Clerk/Backup Receptionist for immediate consideration.

Requirements: Candidate should possess a valid driver's license, have their own transportation, and be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. Requirements include a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF, with a typing speed of at least 65 wpm. Excellent organizational skills and time management a must. Ability to multi-task and work in a busy and fast-paced environment is necessary. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds to move physical files and documents. Experience with FileVine case management program is preferred, but not required. Spanish speaker is a must, as our client base is mostly Hispanic and you will have direct contact with Spanish-speaking clients on a daily basis. We are looking for candidates that have excellent oral and written communication skills, are team players with a service attitude, and have a superior ability to maintain effective relationships with attorneys, staff and the general public.

Job Description: Main responsibilities will include filing records away in alphabetical or numerical order, managing all database records, retrieving files/documents as necessary, and maintaining a clean and organized file space. This includes both physical and electronic files. In addition, you will be responsible for answering multiple phone calls throughout the day, completing initial intakes from potential clients, sending referrals via email/telephone, sorting and scanning incoming mail, and copying, scanning, faxing, labeling, and entering data into our case management system. Candidate will also be responsible for closing files and preparing all related correspondence as well as mailing payments to providers, and arranging for clients to receive their settlement checks. Additionally, candidate will greet current clients and potential new clients as they enter the office and direct them to staff.

The candidate should be outgoing, creative, intelligent, polished, polite, able to multitask, and able to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a positive attitude and a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime.
