Akkodis is seeking an A&P/Structures Mechanic for an Aviation company located in Tucson, AZ. In this position you be troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting and performing maintenance on customer aircraft.
Pay Range: $25-$35/hour. (DOE).
Duration: Long-term Contract (1+ year) but with good chance of Conversion to Full Time/Salaried/Direct Hire.
Location: Tucson, AZ
Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots repairs, inspects and performs maintenance on Customer aircraft.
Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
Ensures that all work performed complies with applicable technical data, FAA regulations.
Reviews non-preplanned documents to identify methods of repair and/or replacement identifying necessary parts, materials and tooling requirements and provides timely estimates for all maintenance on non-preplanned documents within scope of responsibility.
Tracks time spent on each work order and ensured the time is logged correctly and within the budgets assigned.
Ensures that all aircraft parts/components removed from an aircraft in work, are documented, tagged, and protected.
