Job Details
This position is responsible for developing new accounts and maintains existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Identify and implement margin opportunities with existing accounts.
- Support internal and external customers, resolving issues that arise on a timely basis.
- Retain and maintain profitable accounts within established pricing guidelines.
- Participate in sales and purchasing activities within the aluminum group.
- All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of aluminum scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, finance, and transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to generate and close deals.
- Flexible schedule, as approximately 50-75% of travel is required. With the ability to travel impromptu when the occasions arise.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- College degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
