Overview:
The Snyder & Associates structural subsidiary, Shuck-Britson, has an immediate need for a CAD Design tehcnician. Will be responsible for development of vertical and bridge structure design plans using MicroStation, Revit and AutoCAD software.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate execution of design specification renderings to be used in support of bridge and vertical structure engineering projects.
- Perform project design activities using current software platforms.
- Work closely with engineers and other Techs on assigned projects
- Adhere to all company policies and practices per the Personnel Manual
- Regular attendance required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CAD Technician
- Experience using MicroStation or AutoCAD, preferably in a structural application
- Experience using or education in Revit is a big plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to producing work efficiently and accurately to meet the needs of the project manager, the client and project requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in contributing both as an individual and team member
- Able to meet client service demands and project deadlines; must be willing to work extended hours as needed.
