The Senior Director of Global Marketing will lead the development and execution of Globalstar's global marketing strategies including its consumer and commercial areas of business as well as new revenue streams centered around emerging technologies in the telecommunications sector. This individual will work directly with the VP of Global Marketing and Sales to ensure management and implementation of all marketing efforts, including strategy, vision, new product launches and annual department budgets are successful. This position requires excellent organizational skills, ability to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Previous experience in global strategic B2B marketing is a must. The ability to thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment is critical.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management staff and workflow in the department
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback
  • Manage a full-service marketing team that includes, graphic design, corporate communications, social media, media buying and analytics, brand management and tradeshows & events


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workload of the Marketing team including external agencies.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Makes decisions on hiring, discipline, and termination.
  • Prepare and execute global marketing strategies, vision, initiatives, and campaigns.
  • Ensure targets and timelines are met.
  • Create marketing initiatives that will drive sales.
  • Partner with executive team to create, execute and measure initiatives.
  • Prepare materials and present them to Executive Leadership and Board of Directors as requested.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing spanning all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and advertising campaigns.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance accordingly.
  • Research and analyze target vertical markets to develop strategic and tactical plans to grow the business.
  • Analyze competitive landscape.

Education and Experience:

  • An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Ten (10) plus years of work and management experience in Marketing in B2B, and B2C arenas.
  • Expert level of experience using the latest marketing strategies, technologies, and trends.
  • Significant experience creating and aligning sophisticated multi-year marketing roadmaps and growth strategies.
  • Track record of delivering accelerated growth through integrated multi-channel campaigns.
  • Significant experience leveraging the right digital and mobile marketing tools to drive results.
  • Proven experience in new product go-to-market initiatives.
  • Extensive experience managing resources to create meaningful and measurable impact.
  • Satellite or telecommunications industry experience is a plus, but not required.


Physical Requirements:
