Our client is a Fintech in the Lending space that is seeking a Consumer Cards Product Specialist to join their team
This is an onsite position in Miami, so local candidates preferred!
This role is essential for the development and enhancement of the consumer lending products, particularly focusing on card services. You will be involved in all aspects of the product including its features, pricing, user experience, and roadmap. you will also develop partnerships with third party's such as insurance and benefits providers.
Responsibilities:
- Working on the development of consumer lending products, with a focus on card services.
- Act as the product owner within cross-functional teams, alongside IT to implement product features, pricing strategies, and optimize user experience.
- Define and implement product features, pricing strategies, and optimize user experience
- Manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Maintain strategic partnerships with third parties, including insurance providers, retailers, and benefits providers.
- Analyze cardholder data to optimize card program features and rewards,
- Work closely with sales teams to align product development with market needs and opportunities.
- Implement effective strategies to maximize product penetration and profitability.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product management,
- Direct experience in credit card program strategy, including card acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Established contacts in processors, card issuers, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) providers, and card program managers considered a significant plus.
- in B2B negotiations and partnership development.
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and other stakeholders.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in product management are a plus.
