As practices, equipment, and technology continue to advance and shift, we can guarantee our tradition of serving for success remains the same; just as it has since 1934.About the JobAs a Developmental Sales Agronomist, you will work alongside our team of experienced Agronomy Sales Representatives to learn sales strategies and work with our customers, while enhancing your knowledge of crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed marketing, and operation efforts. This role offers the opportunity to utilize and strengthen your skills in sales, operations, and professional development. The Developmental Sales Agronomist is a full-time position, located at our office in Hills, Iowa and reports directly to the Vice President of Fertilizer Services. Responsibilities:Work with agronomy sales representatives to utilize crop protection products, crop nutrient products, precision ag technology and agricultural knowledge to help growers satisfy their agronomy needsEstablish and maintain effective knowledge for promotion of new productsCoordinate with supervisor and/or operations manager to deliver crop nutrient products including chemicals and/or fertilizers, crop protection products and/or seedCollect soil tests and submit for analysisEnsure that all federal and state regulations are being followedMaintain a clean and safe working environmentAll other duties as assignedRequirements:Must have an associates or bachelor's degree in an agricultural related fieldPrevious agronomy experience is a plusValid Class A CDL or ability to obtain one is preferred.
