**Loader Operator**

**Job**
Operate various equipment at our aggregate location efficiently and safely.
**Duties / Responsibilities**
* Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety culture
* Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all equipment
* Complete daily inspections and maintenance checklist
* Participate in pre-shift safety huddles
* Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements
* Perform routine maintenance and any necessary equipment repair as needed
* Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors
* Responsible to inform Plant Superintendent or Supervisors of any potential safety hazards
* Complete additional tasks as assigned
**Qualifications / Skills**
* Ability to operate equipment efficiently
* Ability to communicate with supervisors and peers
* Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
* Ability to take and follow instructions from supervisors as well as work as part of a team
* Ability to adapt to changing conditions
* Able to perform some heavy lifting
**Physical Requirements**
* Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions
* Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment
* Able to use arms, hands, and fingers
* Able to lift and handle objects
