ROLE SUMMARY:

The Strategic Partner role is accountable for revenue retention and growth of ENGIE Impact's most strategic partner accounts. This role is focused on building long-term Client value through developing trusted relationships, contributing to the P&L of new and existing business at the Client, and promoting new strategic initiatives that align ENGIE Impact and other ENGIE Business Unit solutions to the client's needs and values.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing the relationships with ENGIE Impact's most strategic global/national partner accounts with substantial energy or sustainability program.
  • This role is responsible for defining and executing a strategy to engage strategic clients. expectation that the Strategic partner Director will set the standard in administration, consultative selling and executive engagement (internally as well as externally).
  • Responsible to generate partnership opportunities and revenue generation through multiple partner channels.
  • Expected to navigate and grow existing partnership while working to identify and qualify potential new partnerships
  • Expected to navigate internal and external stakeholders to optimize opportunities to collaborate and produce exceptional work for our clients.
  • Plays a pivotal role in lead management of the bid and proposal process, including responding to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Deliver effective Quarterly Partnership Reviews to ensure deliverables and met and clients and make improvements where needed.
  • Engage and partner with PE firms to build programs and value to sell into their portfolio companies and gain new business.
  • Utilize ENGIE Impact and other resources to support and maintain consistent sales volume with current customer base.
  • Understand customer's long-term business and increase level of contact within customer's organization to allow for cross selling of new opportunities and more effective account support.
  • Develop knowledge and keep up to date on ENGIE Impact's service and product offerings to properly advise clients and drive sales opportunities.
  • Prepare, maintain and execute a high-level Business Plan, which outlines strategic and tactical approaches for achieving targets.
  • Prepare, maintain and execute a high-level Account Plans, which outlines strategic and tactical approaches for key accounts.
  • Conduct presentations and opportunity assessments for new clients.
  • Meet targeted personal New Bookings goals as determined by leadership.


  • Education/ Certifications/ Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree required in one of the following fields; Business Administration, Engineering, Energy, Sustainability or similar field
    • Minimum 8-10 years sales experience
    • 4 years experience in energy, utility or related field is preferred
    • Familiarity with strategic account management and experience negotiating large services contracts
    • Knowledge of resource (energy/waste/water) services and controls
    • May consider a combination of relevant experience with educational and other skills and abilities in lieu of educational requirements

    • Effective communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to see trends in data, understand origin of data, and incorporate data into meaningful reports and/or presentations

The pay range for this role is: $128,000-$192,000.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
