Inventory Clerk


Job Details

Monitors and maintains inventory levels by placing orders to ensure necessary quantities are available. Generates purchase orders as required.

Communicates regularly and effectively in written form and verbally with internal and external customers regarding their material requirements.

Tracks all orders and verifies the accuracy of shipment and pricing against purchase orders.

Maintains inventory records, sets up new items, and assigns proper vendor identification and accounting charge codes.

Orders non-inventory items, as requested.

Processes approves, and codes invoices accordingly for payment.

Processes material requisitions.

Follows established procedures to process and document returns.

Investigate viable vendor options for products or materials when requested to do so.

Participates in Company-sponsored training and meetings as required.

All other duties as assigned
