Position Summary:
We are seeking a Carpenter to join our team. You will work closely with the rest of the Company field staff to aid in the delivery of ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
- and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter s level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
- scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
- specifications in construction drawing sets to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
- established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
- composite clean up crew(s).
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or higher education preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of job site safety.
- 2 years experience as carpenter preferred, but not required.
- Highly motivated individual with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Physical exertion including long periods of standing and walking over rough or uneven surfaces, crouching, climbing, and lifting of up to 50 lbs.
