Kistler and Knapp Builders, an established and expanding custom home building company in Greater Boston and Cape Cod, is looking for an experienced Technician (carpenter) to join our enthusiastic and supportive team. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys the hands-on work of carpentry/home maintenance and has strong communication skills. Previous experience with carpentry, skilled labor, or other home maintenance required. OSHA certification and basic computer skills email, word, excel are a plus.
The Home Services Client Technician position will include meeting with the clients, performing general home maintenance, and coordinating subcontractors. This position is supported by a project manager and administrative staff.
Candidate must also have a valid driver s license, DOT physical examination and a clean driving record in order to drive a company van to clients homes.
The ideal candidate takes pride in all aspects of their work and has a no job is too small attitude. Someone looking to pursue a career as a carpenter or construction site supervisor would be a great fit for this position.
