Description

Reports to: Executive Chef

Work Schedule:

  • Part-Time: (20+) hours/week
  • Full -Time: (35+) hours/week

Job Description:

Ensure that all food is prepared to the presentation standards and recipe specifications set by the Executive Chef(s). Cook all dishes to exceed member and guest expectations and follow health code guidelines for receiving and storage of food.

Essential Functions:
  • Stock the cook line
  • Make and assist in daily prep plans
  • Prepare all recipes per specifications
  • Prepare all menu items to plate presentation standards
  • Ensure all orders are prepared within ticket time specifications
  • Responsible for general cleanliness of facility, including, but no limited to, sweeping, cleaning debris, cleaning stations and equipment, and mopping
  • Check daily inventory to ensure sufficient stocking
  • Operate dish machine when Dish Machine Operator/Dishwasher is not scheduled, or extra help is needed
  • Rotate walk-ins and ensure shelf-life adherence
  • Adhere to health code standards
  • Label and date all prepped items according to appropriate procedures
  • Clean and sanitize work area
  • Notify Executive Chef(s) when orders arrive
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep area
  • Make sure equipment is in complete working order and cleaned regularly according to The Legacy Club Maintenance and Janitorial schedule(s)
  • Complete all side work
  • Keep the floor free of debris and mop if needed
  • Report any safety issues to Management immediately
  • Complete checklists as applicable
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Experience:
  • Awareness and concern for operating with integrity
  • Restaurant experience
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Lahn Hospitality Group is a growing family-owned company comprised of a variety of hospitality businesses including amusement parks, a hotel, restaurants, bars, golf courses and more.

Since 1997 The Funplex has owned and operated an amusement park company with three locations along the East Coast. Two locations are in New Jersey with one additional small footprint park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina which opened in 2021. The parks are a combination of family-friendly and thrill amusement rides, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades.

In December 2021, Lahn Hospitality Group purchased The Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, NJ, a country club with a prestigious golf course and membership. The club underwent significant renovation including a new restaurant, atrium event facility, and much more. In the fall of 2023 LHAG opened its first dual branded hotel, La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites, complete with 125 rooms and the first in the area to combine two different Wyndham brands.
