This Role:
Our collaborative Design Services + Sales Enablement team is currently seeking a Designer based out of our Innovation Center in Grand Rapids, MI. This will be a full time, primarily work from home role with occasional in-office days as requested by the team manager.
What You Will Do:
The Designer helps ensure a smooth and effective quoting process for the sales and customer service teams by providing accurate and timely 2D/3D models for customer requests.
How You Will Do It:
- Communicate with members of the customer service and sales teams (and occasionally customers directly) regarding technical specifications of products
- Generate 2D/3D models using computer aided design/CAD software for new and revised products/product components
- Support Duravent manufacturing sites prepare for production of the product by creating/editing bills of materials and routing processes
- Analyze customer/product issues and recommend changes as appropriate
- Additional responsibilities/projects as assigned
What We re Looking For:
We're seeking candates who have:
- Current U.S. work authorization without requiring visa sponsorship required
- Previous experience with CAD software required, AutoCAD Inventor preferred
- Associate s or Bachelor s level education in related field preferred
- Previous work experience in design role strongly preferred
