**GENERAL PURPOSE:**

The Hotel SKU Management Analyst is an essential role that contributes to the release and assortment of receipts in both Ross and dd's stores. Their primary focus is to facilitate the selection of in-season of products that are warehoused in our 6 Distribution Centers for allocation to stores. The analyst is responsible for achieving pre-established daily allocation targets by selecting a broad assortment of SKUs/items to fit within the daily DC and product goals. They are also accountable for executing specialized release strategies in support of merchandise assortment.

Key responsibilities also include conducting analysis to support Company and DC initiatives. The Hotel SKU Management Analyst supports merchandise level strategies via ad-hoc analytical projects, and are often asked to identify, analyze, and recommend efficiencies.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

**SKU Selection Execution**

Strategically select SKUs to achieve allocation targets, and support a balanced assortment (e.g. category or label)

Identify issues impacting goal achievement and independently create resolutions

Define unique business specific approaches and ensure they are incorporated into the SKU Selection process

Through methodical review determine/execute optimal SKU Selection approaches for complex strategies

Determine the release of product to achieve Month End DC unit targets (e.g. comply with assortment initiatives)

Independently resolve SKU Selection issues within a timely manner to not disrupt production

**Strategy Management and Analysis**

In collaboration with business partners develop product level hotel strategies for events and assortment initiatives

Monitor and track business strategies through their completion; package/present results and provide recommendations

Drive seasonal hindsight meetings through on-going strategy reviews; present findings and recommendations to management

Complete ad hoc analytics to support business needs; independently research and respond to callouts

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:**

Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of related experience

Working knowledge of all Allocation/Hotel Planning concepts; high level mastery of Excel; solid mathematics foundation; strong analytical ability.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:**

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
