Is hospitality your specialty? We're seeking a Dining Room Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and direct all front-of-house food service activities. This role will supervise employees in the preparation and service of food in our dining room. Responsibilities:

  • This position may supervise employees in the preparation and service of the food, which may include Dining Room staff, Nutrient Aides, Monitors, and Nursing personnel.
  • Complete and verify pre-service set up with appropriate equipment, food and oversee the service of the food to the customers. This may include serving of menu items to the customer while providing exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
  • Promote and provide a work environment of teamwork and respect amongst employees, integrity, world class customer service, financial responsibility, and continual pursuit of excellence.
  • Ensure that required CSG, State, Federal and other applicable health and safety regulations in connection with food service, equipment use and personal hygiene are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Maintain compliance of verbal and written instructions and recordkeeping systems in the preparation of daily menus.
  • Ensure compliance support and administer all company rules, procedures and policies with regards to operations are followed.
  • Ensure that all employees are properly trained, comprehend and comply with all rules, procedures, and policies.
  • Utilize software programs, various communication documents as needed for the food service operation.
  • Prepare and distribute various reports as needed.
  • Provide a quality dining experience that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Monitor and validate all HACCP policies and procedures are completed and oversee the flow of food.
  • Ensure the dining room is clean and organized including chairs, tables, trash receptacles, condiments, and other appropriate areas before, during and after service.
  • Meet with customers, residents and facility employees as necessary to ensure food service satisfaction within the community.
  • Continuously monitor all points of service and verify standards are being achieved by the team.
  • Participate in managing facility budget through effective cost control procedures and systems.
  • Operate and supervise the department in accordance with Culinary Services Group's standards and specific client requests.
  • Participate in setting and adjusting the residents in the dining room for proper eating positions.
  • Oversee all residents that need assistance/service with eating and ensure proper diet/consistency is achieved.


Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
  • ServeSafe certification required
  • CNA License
  • Experience in healthcare or contract food service environment is preferred but not required.
