**WHO YOU ARE**

You will receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products. You will work on large pallet orders for distribution to our Big Box retail stores.

**WHERE YOU WILL WORK**

Our ClosetMaid facility is in Ocala, FL. It is a 600,000 sq. ft. manufacturing distribution and office facility.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

* Read delivery schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

* Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.

* Convey materials and items from racks to storage or to other designated areas.

* Assemble customer orders from stock, sort, and place materials or items on pallets according to shipping order.

* Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers and compare product by number code.

* Secure lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move the load to destination

* Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled using bin locators or floor locations for inventory accuracy.

* Move, put away and take away products using a forklift and/or reach truck.

* Operate:

* Electric pallet jacks (walkie/rider)

* Sit down forklifts

* Stand Up forklifts

* Reach Trucks

* Turret Trucks (Man-Ups)

* Stock Pickers

* Use computer/scanner

* Identify and compare product by number code.

* Loads and unloads materials onto or and from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand

* Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit

* Responsible for ensuring that specified quality standards are met for all tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* 0-3 years of related work experience

* Must pass the skill test after the onsite training

* Must pass the TABE test -Test for Adult Basic Education. (If an individual holds a 2+ year college degree, then the TABE is not required. If not, they must reach the required TABE score.)

* Forklift, Order Picker , and Turret Truck Experience preferred

* Must have a good safety record

* Ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance.

* Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates.

**PHYSICAL AND ENVIRNMENT DEMANDS**

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on concrete floor with/without floor mats; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (which may include above and/or below shoulders); bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to use left and/or right hand for simple grasping; fine work, pushing/pulling and low speed assembly. The employee is required to walk, climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally life and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
