We are currently assisting our client, near Wickliffe, OH, with a VP of Finance search. The candidate will be a key member of the senior management team and a strategic business partner to the President in driving business performance. The VP will build and manage financial information and analytics, systems, processes, and infrastructure to support the company s strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manages personnel in Accounting, Human Resources, and in Information Technology
- Facilitates decision making, business development, and collaborative problem solving at all levels of the company
- Effectively communicates at all levels, with the ability to use a hands-on approach when necessary
- Operates tactically yet thinks strategically in order to drive operational throughput and margin improvement
- Provides advice to the President and assists the Controller in the formulation of overall corporate objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred
- 10 years' relevant experience
- Strong leadership skills and unquestionable integrity
- Familiarity with accounting and spreadsheet applications
