Job Details
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Plant Manager must develop and implement methods of manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve the quality of the product.
- Must drive effective utilization of plant resources including people and equipment.
- Must improve production, quality, safety, and labor utilization throughout the facility.
- Partner with functional departments in the implementation of all continuous improvement activities.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to design, specify, and validate world-class manufacturing processes to achieve organizational goals.
- The Plant Manager must direct and manage maintenance of material replenishment methods, quality standards, and performance metrics.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing operations of production, machinery, processing, and packaging departments.
- Must ensure that all production line schedules are in accordance with plant capabilities, customer requirements, economic performance, and planning.
- The Plant Manager is responsible for budgeting and managing manufacturing cost structures by developing and maintaining operational expenses within budget allowance and looks for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Document protocols and ensure that all operations records are properly maintained and reviewed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Plant Manager must hold a bachelor s degree in operations management, business, engineering, or related field.
- Must hold a minimum of 5+ years of plant management experience from the food and beverage manufacturing/ production industry.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement experience. Certification is a plus.
- Must have 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in computers.

- $120k-$170k/annum depending on experience.
