**Description**

May assist operators along with cleaning up wood materials in and outside the sawmill and planer. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

**Position Responsibilities:**

* Be able to work independently and with little or no supervision

* Showing up timely with the ability to adjust scheduled times

* Work safely at all times

* Remaining attentive to potential job hazards at all time

* Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment at all times

* Follow all necessary safety policies and procedures including but not limited to; state, federal and company

* Capability to work in uncontrolled environments (heat, cold, potentially wet conditions)

* Show up to work prepared to work

* Be self-motivated

Position Requirements:

* Sweep and Shovel

* Lift, pull and push lumber

* Operate full wheel borrow to clean and haul waste materials

* Perform safe operations when using an air hose to blow the floor and equipment

* Maintain waste systems (hog/chipper/conveyors) by identifying clogs and clearing clogged waste

* Must obtain training to perform some equipment specific tasks

* Hand and power tools such as a circular saw and/or chainsaw to break up materials for removal

* Properly use ladders

* Ascend and descend stairs

**Physical Requirements:**

* Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, stand, walk, climb, kneel, carry heavy items; pushing and pulling of weights of up to 50 pounds

**Position Shift:**
