Our client is a Regional and Local construction leader, building legacy projects in Houston for 50 years. The Preconstruction Manager serves as the principal point of contact with the design team and the owner. The projects will be across several markets including healthcare, higher education, aviation, industrial, hospitality, and commercial facilities from the ground up, as well as finish-out.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
Minimum of 8+ years of commercial preconstruction experience or related field experience with a general contractor and/or a major subcontractor.
Skilled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills while serving as a team player, providing conceptual and detailed estimates on complex commercial projects.
Bachelor s Degree, preferably in construction management, engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Interest and ability to attend and engage design/coordination meetings and industry events, as well as maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors and clients/owners.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated problem solver.
