JustinBradley' client, a national financial services leader, is seeking a Financial Analyst III to gather and analyze financial information, including capacity and utilization; conduct budget and quantitative analyses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the preparation of budget and financial reports utilizing data from multiple sources and in varying formats.
- Analyze and summarize forecast, actuals and variances, as well as capacity allocations and utilization.
- Prepare executive level and analyst level budget reports and build forecast.
- Generating summaries of large data sets.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional excel skills is required and key to success in this position.
- Attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Ability to analyze large data sets, identify anomalies, trends, (one time, over time), and provide summary analysis.
- Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Expert ability to analyze budget trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and reporting of financial data.
- Previous experience with software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial or reporting software.
- Experience developing executive briefings based on data analysis.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required.
- 10+ years financial and/or accounting experience required.
