The Role

This is a Part Time 1 Year Contract position to extend. Schedule will be 8 hour days on-site in our clients location in Atlanta - 7am - 3pm. . You will typically work 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday however at times your schedule will vary to either 2 or up to 5 days per week as needed based on client needs.

As an AMS Recruiter (HR Interviewer), you will support client hiring managers with filling their vacancies to target start dates ensuring all quality thresholds and KPIs are met and value is generated for AMS. The role of the Senior Recruiter is to develop and deliver excellent assessment services to the client in line with agreed service levels. The Senior Recruiter is also responsible for building excellent relationships within the hiring manager community in order to provide guidance to ensure a best practice approach to resourcing is adopted.

The Recruiter can be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team and providing support and information as requested by the Manager. This is a key role that requires a responsive, strategic and client-facing individual.
Key Accountabilities

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to act as an HR Interviewer.
  • Sitting in and conducting candidate interviews alongside hiring managers of our client.
  • Offering insight, suggestions, recommendations, and support hiring decisions.
  • Support the hiring manager with deciding which candidate to hire and guide them in determining an appropriate offer.
  • Compliant with legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors)
  • Ensure the recruitment service is delivered, in line with contractual obligations and client service levels
  • Contribute to the commercial success of the account through the achievement of NFI (monthly and annual) targets. Accountable for delivering to target start dates
  • Mentor / guide members of the team on best practice approaches, client culture and support them in achieving success in their roles
  • Responsible for the management of candidate relationships and their satisfaction with the recruitment experience
  • Producing timely and accurate activity and management information reporting, only if required
Skills & Experience

  • 4-5 years of recruitment experience - Pilot hiring experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience sitting in with hiring managers in person to guide the interview and provide a strong candidate experience.
  • Strong interviewing and assessment skills in a fast paced environment.
  • Worked with, and presented to and solved issues for clients and candidates, including Hiring Managers
  • Expert in behavioural / competency-based interviewing including strong assessment skills
  • Experience of producing business orientated management information
  • Able to demonstrate a broader understanding of the clients business and strategies and how they influence AMS Service Delivery
  • Able to act autonomously, potentially responsible for own business areas on a standalone basis
  • Thorough understanding of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors)
