**The Opportunity**

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team. The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is responsible for maintaining and enforcing the operational security and compliance of systems processing classified information, and approval from the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). Responsibilities also include physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness. The ISSO develops and maintains, with review and assists the ISSM with matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of systems under their purview, RMF accreditation packages consisting of System Security Plans (SSP) and associated artifacts.

**Job Duties:**

* Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and decommissioned in accordance with System Security Plans (SSPs), Authorization to Operate (ATO) requirements, and other official guidance

* Work closely with System Administrator(s) (SA) to ensure daily operations are compliant, secure, and performed in accordance with program requirements

* Ensure proper account management documentation is completed prior to adding, enabling, modifying, or disabling system accounts

* Conduct initial end-user system briefings and specific role-based trainings, and re-briefings/re-trainings annually or as required

* Maintain Configuration Management (CM) baselines for information system security software, hardware, and firmware and advise ISSM on security impact of any changes.

* Serve as a member of the Configuration Control Board (CCB), if designated by the ISSM

* Conduct Continuous Monitoring (CONMON) assessments of authorized systems and provide ISSM with recommended corrective actions for all identified findings and vulnerabilities

* Manage POA&M items for each system and continuously assess system security control risk

* Ensure audit records are collected and analyzed in accordance with program requirements

* Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) of assigned systems

* Prepare and maintain documentation to include SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, Assessment & Authorization packages, and Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM)

* Maintain system approvals/accreditations and, following review and approval from the ISSM, ensure transmission of materials to appropriate government agencies on a timely basis

* Assist the ISSM in meeting their duties and responsibilities. The ISSO shall assume ISSM responsibilities in the absence of the ISSM

**Requirements:**

* Must be a U.S. Citizen

* Possession of current Secret security clearance with SAP eligibility or the ability to obtain and maintain such

* Bachelors Degree in a related field (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, etc.)

* 2 - 3 years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

* Possession of certification in good standing to satisfy DoD 8570.01-M Level 2 (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM, etc.), or the ability to obtain such within six months of hire date

* Must possess a strong working knowledge of computer systems, system software, computer peripherals, and operating systems

* Experience operating in secure environments preferred

* Experience with/working knowledge of security-relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of RMF to include: eMASS, NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs/SCAP preferred

* Experience with the SAP community preferred

* Knowledge of specific DoD standards, RMF, DAAPM processes, and JSIG directives

* Prior experience managing RMF packages and implementing DoD policies: e.g., DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series preferred

* Prior experience authoring and/or maintaining Body of Evidence (BOE) artifacts in support of A&A of assigned systems in accordance with RMF preferred

* High level of customer service, communication skills (oral and written), and attention to detail

* Willingness to learn and be adaptable with a can do attitude

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be a self-starter with initiative to work independently and interact with personnel and government customer

* Work individually and as part of a team in a diverse, rapidly changing environment

* Ability to work with limited direction and handle multiple projects on short timelines

* Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Companys Quality Policy
