Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in accordance with government requirements and client expectations.

Coordinate with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Contract Management and Procurement:

Manage the procurement process, including bid preparation, contractor selection, and contract negotiation.

Administer contracts, change orders, and subcontracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Budget and Cost Control:

Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.

Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities to optimize project costs and resources.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure construction activities meet government standards and specifications.

Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project requirements.

Risk Management and Safety:

Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.

Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety best practices on construction sites.

Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, addressing their concerns, inquiries, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain strong client relationships and seek opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.

5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on government projects.

Strong understanding of government contracting processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

$95,000 - $105,000 a year
