Job Details

Land Acquisition Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility analyses for potential acquisitions, considering entitlement status, improvement plans, environmental reports, legal review, financial analysis, and market trends.
  • Present findings to the Asset Management Committee.


Managing Lot Pipeline Inventory:

  • Identify strategic acquisitions and cultivate relationships with brokers and landowners.
  • Negotiate legal documentation for acquisitions and ensure timely closings.
  • Monitor compliance with agreements and focus on pipeline growth.


Land Development Tasks:

  • Coordinate team efforts to deliver finished lots on time and within budget.
  • Establish development standards and source geotechnical engineers.
  • Develop and review accurate land budgets, input data into systems, and manage contractor scopes of work.
  • Seek competitive pricing, oversee document completion, and collaborate with the Construction team.


Supervisory and Departmental Duties:

  • Recruit and supervise department personnel, conduct evaluations, and manage employee discipline and leave.
  • Foster interdepartmental relationships and liaise with external stakeholders.


Qualifications and Compensation:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields and at least five years of land acquisition experience required.
