IT Learning and Development Specialist


Job Details

The IT Learning and Development Specialist implements, manages, and continuously improves employee experience , employee dexterity, and application adoption. This role plans and manages the implementation of technology to improve employee adoption, adaptation, and optimal use of applications. Collaborates with the line of businesses and shared services colleagues to drive the adoption of existing applications and work with stakeholders to plan for new technology deployments to develop and execute successful adoption strategies. Helps improve application return on investment by decreasing digital friction.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Communications Business, HR, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Information Technology Learning and Development specialist in a corporate environment.
  • Travel: 5-10%
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates technology adoption strategies that align to workplace initiatives.
  • Continuously trains organization on technologies such as Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Smartsheet s, Artificial Intelligence prompting, etc.
  • Promotes workforce equity and dexterity through the enablement of technology
  • Manages new technology adoption.
  • Assesses needs and develop use cases.
  • Designs impactful in-app guidance.
  • Measures and publishes reports on application adoption and proficiency.
  • Iterates to improve business outcomes continuously.
  • Identifies and participates in the implementation of digital adoption solution projects.
  • Creates content that improves:
  • Team member training and onboarding
  • Application adoption and proficiency
  • Workflow compliance
  • Data Accuracy
  • Provides continuous employee training and supports onboarding.
  • Ongoing productivity training of digital technologies
  • Designs, contributes and/or creates content such as Computer Based Training, Quick Reference Cards, and Training Documents. For both Virtual and/or in-person learning.
  • Collaborates with Information Technology, Talent, L&D, and operation team members to understand application usage requirements, workflows, and features, then creates content accordingly.
  • Partners with internal communication teams to create messaging and content that contributes to technology adoption. This may include applying organizational change management best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
