Job Details
Essential Functions and Other Duties:
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting for Clarience HQ including daily and monthly accounting entries
- Responsible for account reconciliations and posting journal entries
- Supports successful month-end closing process
- Perform payment runs, management of HQ bank account and monthly bank reconciliation
- Maintains customer files, communicates with customers to resolve the customer s A/R issues, prepares aging reports, places billing and collection calls
- Assists in maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures
- Responds to requests for information from vendors, customers, and other stake holders
- Prepare annual budget and quarterly financial forecasts for Clarience HQ
- Develop and calculate HQ cost allocation
- Assist in payroll processing for Clarience HQ employees
- Prepares weekly cash flow forecast for HQ
- Centralized insurance and medical billing
- Oversee Concur expense reporting process
- Meets processing and reporting deadlines
- Ensures GAAP compliance
- Completes ad-hoc requests from Finance
- Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification not required but a plus
Experience Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role with similar responsibilities
- Prior experience with accounting software (JDE a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of General Accounting, Financial reporting, and GAAP concepts
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, provide analysis, work efficiently independently, and take initiative
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards
- Industry experience following public accounting a plus
