Hackstaff Snow Atkinson and Griess is seeking an associate with 6-8 years of experience to join our Litigation team. Our firm, located in Greenwood Village, represents individuals and businesses with a range of commercial legal issues. Strong candidates will demonstrate sound legal knowledge, attention to detail, and self-motivation. Salary from $120,000 to $140,000, in line with qualifications, plus health and retirement benefits. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute legal strategies for cases and matters
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
- Independently handle and manage cases and matters
- Generate legal reports and prepare necessary documents
- Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, legal documents, and other related materials for clients
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding disputes
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships
- Conduct ethical interactions with clients and opposing parties
- Track and comply with all relevant deadlines
- Represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and before government agencies
- Manage depositions and discovery processes
- Negotiate settlements
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in Colorado (Required)
- 6-8 years of professional legal experience
- Well-honed critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written communication abilities
- Extensive legal knowledge
- Well-honed critical thinking and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience handling court appearances and depositions independently
- Familiarity with Clio software is preferred.
