Martin Woodworking Machines Corp. is a subsidiary of Otto Martin Machinenbau in Ottobeuren Germany. We are the sales and service office in the United States for all Martin products as well as other European products manufactured by German and Austrian manufacturers.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Machine Service Technician role located in Charlotte, NC. The Machine Technician will be responsible for technical support through email and phone communication with customers. Troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and working with various machinery. The Machine Technician will also be responsible for ensuring that all machinery is operating efficiently and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues with customer machines as well as maintaining showroom machinery.

Qualifications

Experience in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
willing and able to travel approximately 20% of your time.
travel would be throughout the United States with some travel to Germany for training.
experience with solving and supporting electrical issues is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with woodworking machinery is a plus
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Technical degree or certification in related field preferred
