Quinn is hiring a Shop Utility worker in Fresno, California.
The Shop Utility worker is responsible to clean machines, organize equipment and components in yard, and perform light maintenance to machines and components used in heavy equipment industry.
Starting wage will depend on experience and education.
$15.75 - $22.97
Primary Responsibilities for Shop Utility:
Check ins and Check outs of rental equipment before they go out to the customers
Runs power sweeper through the shop
Empties scrap metal containers
Empties trash and transports same to disposal point or appropriate trash collection dumpster
Picks up and delivers parts for technicians as needed
Cleans and preps new and used machinery for delivery
Clean machines and components as needed to prepare equipment for delivery
Operates floor scrubber, forklift and tenant sweeper as required to perform assigned duties
Keeps supervisor informed of inventory levels of janitorial supplies
Operates appropriate powered cleaning equipment as required
Keeps work and supply areas clean and orderly, and follows all safety rules and procedures
Works with hazardous waste and receives Hazardous Waste Training every year
Perform other work-related duties as directed or assigned
Required to work overtime if needed
Physical Requirements for Shop Utility:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for prolonged period of time
Ability to bend, squat, stand and reach as necessary
Required experience and skills for Shop Utility:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instruction
