Requirements:

  • Desire to work with a mission-driven, committed team of professionals dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the licensed healthcare workforce of Connecticut.
  • Advanced Degree Required (APRN, PA-C, or similar)
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in a healthcare environment preferred, with priority given to clinicians with addiction medicine or psychiatric experience.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong oral and written skills, non- judgmental, and compassionate.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and in a team structure is essential.
  • This position is full-time with competitive salary and benefits.
  • Work Location: One location with eventual partial work from home opportunity.


Company Overview: HAVEN is a mission-driven, non-profit organization that provides confidential assistance to healthcare professionals licensed through the Department of Public Health or the Department of Consumer Protection who have a medical, behavioral health, cognitive or other condition that does or could impact their optimal health and wellness, and the safety of those for whom they care. To be part of our focused and caring team, we are looking for a full-time Professional Director to provide all aspects of our clinical operations. It should be noted that HAVEN does not provide direct care and treatment and the Professional Director will not be providing counseling or treatment services. You will work with a team of professionals that provide expert care management, clinical experience, and comprehensive advice and oversight.


Responsibilities:

Interface with program participants; Provide case management oversight; Conduct participant intakes and interviews; Collaborate with participant treaters; Make referrals for care and treatment; Coordinate discharge planning; Monitor compliance and other program related activities; Maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with ethics as well as state and federal laws; Conduct and document all interactions in an accurate, professional and timely manner; Participate in HAVEN s QA/QI program; Provide educational seminars regarding HAVEN to outside entities; Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Medical Director.
