As a commission-based Health and Life Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for advising and assisting clients in selecting and purchasing health and life insurance policies that best meet their needs. This role involves working independently with various insurance carriers, including those offering life insurance, Medicare, and plans under the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare). Your goal is to provide expert guidance to clients, helping them navigate complex insurance options and secure appropriate coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate clients' insurance needs and financial status to determine suitable insurance plans.
Compare and contrast policies from multiple insurance carriers to find the best options.
Educate clients on the different aspects of their policies, including benefits, costs, and limitations.
Maintain and manage relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
Stay informed of changes in the insurance industry and regulatory environment to offer up-to-date advice.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with life insurance, Medicare, and ACA policies.
Licensed to sell health and life insurance in the state of practice.
